Specifier support workflow

Greenshine Project Services from Layout Inputs to Handover

Outdoor lighting reviews depend on more than a fixture schedule. Our workflow organizes geometry, photometry, solar resource assumptions, controls interfaces and submittal evidence so project teams can identify unresolved decisions before procurement.

Lighting engineer reviewing roadway photometric layout

Three Services, Distinct Deliverables

01

Application Definition

We record roadway width, pole setback, mounting height, target illuminance, uniformity criteria and operating hours. For solar work, the intake separates night profile, autonomy days and local irradiation assumptions. Missing survey information remains labeled rather than silently estimated.

02

Photometric Coordination

Candidate IES or LDT distributions are reviewed against pole spacing and aiming. The comparison addresses luminous flux, candela distribution, BUG rating, correlated color temperature and glare exposure; highest lm/W is not treated as a substitute for useful delivered light.

03

Submittal Assembly

Schedules can consolidate dimensional data, control interfaces, IP rating, surge protection and declared certification scope. Report numbers are supplied only when attached to the applicable product, market and configuration.

A Review Path with Named Decision Gates

1

Input audit

Confirm plan scale, mounting positions, required standard and energy source.

2

Option screen

Remove optics or system sizes that conflict with geometry and duty cycle.

3

Calculation review

Check average, minimum, uniformity and boundary light using agreed assumptions.

4

Document release

Issue the selected file set with revision date and unresolved field checks.

What to Send

A CAD or dimensioned PDF plan, target criteria, preferred pole locations and operating schedule provide a reproducible starting point. A local irradiance source and shading notes are required for autonomous solar sizing.

  • Photometric package: IES/LDT file, luminaire schedule and calculation assumptions.
  • Controls package: dimming interface, sensor zoning and programmed operating profile.
  • Site package: pole, foundation, wind exposure and access constraints.
  • Limitation: desktop review does not replace field verification, authority approval or final structural engineering.
